Upcycling
Recycling is a way to help people in the waste matter.
Every year Indonesia produces at least 1 billion tons of waste. Trash is sent
to landfills, most of which pollute land and air. As a result of recycling,
waste that should be discarded, reused instead of in new products. In recycling
it has two types:
1. Internal
One example of internal recycling is the reuse of unused
product waste from within the same plant. For example, when a copper pipe is
being made, the tip of this pipe will be trimmed. The end of this tenbaga will
be melted and reused to make a new pipe.
2. External
People can collect recycled materials. These materials
will be brought to the recycling site, which will be cleaned, sorted, and put
up for sale. Then the industry will buy the material and use it for new
products.
